Iranian missile fire hit a street close to a tech park housing a Microsoft office in Israel’s southern city of Beersheba early on Friday, according to Israeli emergency services and international reports.
Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency service, confirmed that multiple fires broke out following missile impacts in the vicinity of the technology park. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported, though several individuals sustained minor injuries.
MDA teams were swiftly dispatched to the scene to assess damage and assist those affected CNN and Reuters both noted that the street fire ignited near a Microsoft office within the park. Local police and bomb disposal units responded to secure the area and investigate. Israeli authorities reported that at least one missile breached air defenses and carried submunitions—marking one of the few direct missile strikes by Iran on an Israeli urban hub .
This attack is part of a broader Iranian campaign of missile and drone strikes against Israel following Israeli strikes on Iranian facilities earlier this month.
